The Service Bench, Inc. (TSB) was founded in 1979 by Jay Trieber to service consumer electronics products such as stereo components, televisions, and VCRs. In 1980, the business relocated from Trieber's residence in Needham, Massachusetts to a 2,200 square foot storefront in Norwood Center. Soon, the business expanded into sales of stereophonic and video products for the home. In 1986, Home Theater Concepts was spun off to stand alone as a significant source for customers looking to install Custom Electronics Systems in their homes.

The Service Bench has continued to expand its staff and scope of items serviced to include commercial and professional products, Video Wall Displays, broadcast and medical equipment. Our reputation grew as well, and we are now well respected throughout the industry as knowledgable, reliable, and competent. We are currently under contract as either Regional or National Factory Service with some major manufacturers. As many other service companies struggle to keep ahead of the technology "curve", we will always strive to be ahead of and be ready to apply our skills to the newest advances.
